Meet The Partner 135 Team

Matt began serving as a mission volunteer with Partner 135 in 2009. In 2019, the Board of Directors selected him as President & CEO. Matt is passionate about disciple making and spreading the supremacy of Christ among the nations.

Sally joined the Partner 135 team in 2011. She has worked as a bookkeeper for over 30 years, 15 of those years for non-profits. She has had a lifelong interest in missions and felt blessed when God gave her the opportunity to serve in this capacity.

At 19 years of age, Emily joined the team to Uganda in 2008 for the first time and fell in love with the people and mission of TCWM (now Partner 135). Emily said, "I knew that I found what I had been praying for since I was in middle school—a way to be a part of international missions." In the Spring of 2022, Emily left her previous profession of 11 years as a registered nurse and was given the opportunity to join the staff of Partner 135 as the Director of Development. She is excited to help the organization grow!

We have now joined Partner 135, a mission organization, where we serve as Mobilization Coordinators. Our assignment is to mobilize people to be lovers of Jesus, and thereby lovers of the commission He gave every believer: to make disciples of every nation. We will be sharing the gospel and ministering to people with the eye, dental, or health clinics that Partner 135 does. The mission of Partner 135 is to empower the national church where they are by training up disciples to lead their local churches and go to the nations themselves. We will be going on both domestic and international mission trips with a primary emphasis on going to the unreached or hard to reach peoples of the world. We hope to activate many people every year and offer churches an avenue to be involved with missions.

Bob heard the call at age 8 to serve in missions. While working as an engineer for Boeing, Bob worked in many ministries, served as Missions Director for his church, and joined many short-term missions teams. Upon leaving Boeing, Bob followed God’s call into full-time missions. “Dr. Bob” is actively seeking relationships with churches and individuals through presentation to any size group to equip others in how they can be actively involved in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sarah grew up in a home where she was taught to know, love, and follow Jesus from a young age. Her family greatly emphasized reaching the nations with the Good News of Jesus, which led to her first mission trip in 2018. Since that trip, she has been on a journey that led her to work for Partner 135 as Sponsorship Coordinator. Her heart is for all the nations to worship the Lord and for more people to be brought into Kingdom ministry.

Kari moved to Peru as a missionary in 2015 to serve in teaching at the Tom Cox Baptist Theological Seminary of Trujillo. Nilton was among the first graduating class of the Seminary’s missions school in 2016. In 2018, Nilton and Kari got married and now serve the Lord together in teaching, training, church-planting and discipleship. Both have a heart to see their Peruvian brothers and sisters trained and sent out as missionaries and to see the Peruvian local church raise up to be a supportive and active part of mission work. In July of 2019, Kari stepped in as President of the Board of Partner 135's Peruvian branch and Nilton as the new Director of Missions for Partner 135 Peru. They both continue to serve in various ways with the Seminary and to partner with their state's Peruvian Baptist Association.

The K's have been making disciples among Middle Eastern People Groups and stirring up the church to love the "sojourner" in our midst by welcoming refugees with love in the name of Christ.

Paul and Tammy (not their real names) have been faithful church leaders and disciple makers in a closed country for their entire adult lives. Recently, due to heavy persecution, they were forced to relocate a nearby country where their work of making disciples who make disciples has continued. Partner 135 began partnering with them in 2022 and we are excited to see the generations of fruit to come through their faithfulness to advance the Gospel of the Kingdom within middle eastern nations.
